R.M. Palmer expanded their line in hollow chocolate Easter Bunnies with cooperation from Golden Book Publishing. Book 'n Bunny combined the sweet taste of a hollow chocolate bunny with the company of an Easter children's story. The theme was developed to promote children's literacy. Vibrant watercolor illustrations of bunnies reading books enveloped this package design.
